Nebraska Football rival fans demonstrate again why they're the worst

Nebraska Football fans don’t like Colorado fans. It’s a safe bet that CU fans don’t like Husker fans either. At this point, the hatred between the fanbases is unlikely to ever change. It’s ingrained. Its’ been decades of dislike. There are reasons for the two groups to dislike each other.

What Buffaloes fans did earlier this week just underlined one of the reasons why Nebraska Football fans want nothing to do with that group. They demonstrated why former Pac-12 fanbases like Washington, Oregon, USC and UCLA are likely happy to escape them. Buffs fans are a pretty insufferable bunch.

A case in point from this week came when former 5-star cornerback Cormani McClain entered the transfer portal. He was one of the biggest high school recruits that Deion Sanders landed since arriving in Boulder. If there was any chance that he might have changed his mind and stayed with CU, that was blasted into little pieces by CU fans reactions.

In a Twitter space shortly after McClain’s announcement, Colorado fans flooded the space just so they could blast him, cuss him out, tell him he needed to grow up, and just shower him with incredibly inappropriate comments.

I have put a tweet allowing anyone interested to listen to what they said about someone who decided Colorado wasn’t the place for him. I will caution that there is very explicit language. Just know that going in, should you decide to listen to it.

Nebraska Football rival continues to show complete lack of class

Of course, there are fans in every group that behave poorly. That’s the nature of fandom unfortunately. There are Nebraska Football fans that I wish were not a part of Husker Nation when something goes wrong.

But what Colorado fans did earlier this week is beyond the pale. It’s a complete and total lack of class. And hopefully, it can serve as a reminder if and when more Nebraska Football players decide to enter the portal, on how Husker fans should never act.
