No. 6: Irving Fryar

New Jersey's Irving Fryar was the No. 1 overall pick of the 1984 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He would have a 17-year NFL career with the Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Washington franchise.

Fryar was twice a second-team All-Pro selection (1985, 1994). He also made five Pro Bowl teams (1985, 1993, 1994, 1996, and 1997).

Five times, Fryar was a 1,000-yard receiver. That included his best year, 1997, when he had 1,316 yards and 6 TDs on 86 catches for Philadelphia.

He also had 11 touchdowns and 1,195 yards for Philly in 1996. That year, he had a career-high 88 catches.

Fryar played in 255 games in the NFL. He caught 84 TDs including the only score New England would register in Super Bowl XX.
