No. 9: Grant Wistrom
Missouri native Grant Wistrom is one of the greatest Cornhuskers of all time. He won the 1997 Lombardi Award and was a two-time consensus All-American (1996-97).
In the NFL, he wasn't quite as dominant but he was still an excellent player. Over the course of nine NFL seasons, he racked up 413 tackles and 53.0 sacks. Wistrom helped the St. Louis Rams defeat the Tennessee Titans 23-16 in Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000.
The No. 6 overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft, he never dominated the game the way many thought he might, though. His best season came in 2000 when he had 63 total tackles and 11 sacks. That was the only double-digit sack season of his career.
On four occasions, Wistrom had at least 50 tackles in a season. What's more, he had at least 37 tackles in every season of his NFL career except his rookie year.
