For the first time since 2016, the Nebraska Cornhuskers will (likely) go bowling in 2024. Historically, Matt Rhule's third season with a program is a good one, but with some nice breaks in the schedule it isn't difficult seeing the Cornhuskers get to 6-7 wins.

Plus, there's a significant amount of hype surrounding the team - thanks in large part to five-star freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola.

Raiola threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns in the spring game, catapulting himself into a very real competition with Heinrich Haarberg.

We'll see how it shakes out, but one thing is certain - you don't want to miss a single game.

Streaming on ESPN+

ESPN+ could feature a Nebraska game, but it seems more likely that games would air on Peacock. Still, ESPN+ offers plenty of college football games.

Special Considerations for College Football Streaming

Blackout Restrictions

  • Blackout restrictions occur when a certain broadcast has been sold to a particular network or region by the league or rightsholder. These are used to protect the party that owns the rights to the broadcast, and to encourage users to seek out their broadcast.
  • It is rare for blackout restrictions to pop up during college football season, however, a VPN would allow someone to circumvent any restrictions by changing their IP address.

International Viewing

  • International college football fans would be well served to sign up for a VPN. With a VPN, their IP address could be changed on the fly, allowing them to sign up for any US streaming service.
  • We won't promote any particular VPN here, but there are dozens of options.

Free Trials and Promotions

  • FuboTV offers a weeklong free trial to new users. YouTube TV has an offer for new users allowing them to save $30 for their first three months. Hulu's free trial is just 72 hours.
  • To get the most bang for your buck, we'd recommend signing up for FuboTV during Week Zero, allowing you to get two week's worth of games during the free trial period.
