As the calendar moves closer and closer to March, it’s time to start thinking about where and when the Big Ten conference basketball tournament is going to take place. With January almost over, March Madness is almost here. We’re weeks away from beginning the final stages of this year’s college basketball season.

For Nebraska basketball faithful, there’s a hope that when the Huskers go to the tournament they’ll be going there to make a little noise. At the same time, they’re hoping that the Cornhuskers will have already basically made the NCAA Tournament and that no matter what happens, they’ll be dancing.

There will still be plenty of reason to see just what the Huskers can do once the Big Ten Conference basketball tournament tips off.

When and where is the Big Ten basketball tournament?

The Big Ten tournament has been staged at several different locations over the years. This year, the tourney will occur at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, starting on March 13. The first game of the tournament will start at 5:30 pm Central. The second game will start about a half hour after the first.

The tournament will really roll to life on March 14 when the first game of the day starts at 11 am.

How to watch the Big Ten tournament

Depending on which round you’re talking about, there will be several different ways to watch the Big Ten tournament. The first two games of the tourney will be broadcast only on Peacock.

Several Big Ten conference games have appeared exclusively on the streaming service over the course of the season. It appears the B1G is going to paywall two of the tourney games as well.

The second round and quarterfinals will be hosted on either the Big Ten Network or the Fox Sports app, depending on how you want to watch. Finally, the seminfinals and championship round will be broadcast on Paramount+ or CBS. It’s a safe bet that the Big Ten conference tournament will lead the country in number of networks its games are broadcast on.
