Eric Piatkowski was one of the longest-tenured Huskers in the NBA, as he played 13 seasons in the league. He spent his first nine seasons with the LA Clippers, two with the Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns and one with the Houston Rockets.
Piatkowski was someone who tended to bounce between starter and bench player, but he managed to put up some big numbers no matter when he played. For the Clippers he still managed to leave a lasting legacy as he is still the Clippers' all-time leader in 3-pointers made with 738 and 3-point percentage (40.2 percent)
As a member of the Nebraska basketball team he went through the greatest era of the Huskers program. He is one of just two players at the school to have the distinction of playing in an NCAA Tournament game for four straight seasons.
Piatkowski was a two-time first-team All-Big Eight selection and was the MVP of the 1994 Big Eight Tournament while leading the Nebraska basketball team to their first conference tournament title.
