When the Nebraska football availability report was released on Saturday, there were a bunch of names that Husker fans expected to see listed as out, including Janiran Bonner. However, on the questionable side, there were a couple of names that might have raised eyebrows, especially if NU wasn't playing an FCS opponent in Week 3.

The injury report for the Cornhuskers is long, with a ton of people out that have been out for quite a while, like Demetrius Bell and Blye Hill. Bonner is a new addition but is not remotely a surprise. However, there are a bunch of guys who could play but likely won't, especially since Matt Rhule and Co. would likely prefer they rest up against Houston Christian and get ready for Michigan.

Will Malcolm Hartzog and Javin Wright play for in Week 3?

The most intriguing Nebraksa football players listed as questionable today are the hero of their Week 1 win over Cincinnati, defensive back Malcolm Hartzog. Alongside him, as far as eyebrow-raising spot on the "questionable" list, is Javin Wright.

Wright returned for a final season for the Huskers after there was some talk that he might go pro. He's gotten a ton of snaps in both games so far this season. However, he headed to the sideline early last week against Akron as all the leading players got to sit in the 68-0 victory.

Because the availability report lists who might be hurt, but not what the problem is, it's not 100% clear what either Wright or Hartzog is battling as far as bumps and bruises.

The good news here is that while the Huskers have plenty of guys sitting out due to injury, the Nebraska football team shouldn't need either Javin Wright or Malcolm Hartzog to play much to beat Houston Christian.
