Vegas has officially rolled out some of the early point spreads now that Week 0 is over and the rest of the college football world is ready to kick off its seasons. It should come as no surprise that NU is favored, though there has to be some surprise that they're not favored by more.

After all, the Nebraska football team is opening up its 2025 campaign against a Bearcats squad that was just 4-8 a year ago. And yet, they're expected to at least make it a contest against a revamped Huskers program.

Current Nebraska football vs. Cincinnati odds

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Huskers are a 6.5-point favorite as of Sunday night. In other words, Nebraska is expected to win the Thursday night tilt by a touchdown or more. The Nebraska football team seems as ready as it's been in quite some time. With a program chomping at the bit to show its back, and opening against a Power 4 team before two cupcakes, expect them to pour it on and not let up for four quarters.
