Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola is heading down south for the prestigious Manning Passing Academy, as the young quarterback is just the seventh player to accept his invite, according to a post on social media. Raiola has been putting in a lot of work this offseason to be even better than he was in his true freshman season, and this academy is another step in the right direction.

Raiola will be joining fellow quarterbacks like Kansas' Jalon Daniels, Arizona State's Sam Leavitt, Kansas State's Avery Johnson, Georgia's Gunner Stockton, Texas's Arch Manning, Clemson's Cade Klubnik, Texas A&M's Marcell Reed, Missouri's Beau Pribula, Oklahoma's John Mateer, Iowa's Mark Gronowski, LSU's Garrett Nussmeier, Penn State's Drew Allar, and Illinois' Luke Altmyer.

The Manning Passing Academy will run from June 26 through June 29 in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and is held at Nicholls State.

What is the Manning Passing Academy?

The Manning Passing Academy is heading into its 29th year, as the annual academy was designed to help prospective high school football players grow in their position from wide receiver to tight end to running back, and of course, quarterback. The Academy has grown into an elite academy for high schoolers and is run by the famous Manning family: Archie, Cooper, Peyton, and Eli.

The college quarterbacks that attend the camp help the young gunslingers with their fundamentals and everything the camp has to offer, but don't think they aren't learning a little something for themselves. The quarterback position has been synonymous with the Manning name for decades, and for the last almost 30 years, they have been helping young football players grow and have successful careers in both college and in the NFL.

Raiola's attendance at the Manning Passing Academy is big for the young gunslinger, and while he is helping the younger kids, he just might be able to get some advice on his own game from the NFL Manning greats.
