Nebraska really hit with this troll.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers started off the 2025 season with a close win against the Cincinnati Bearcats in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Thursday night. The Cornhuskers brought it down to the wire with a game-sealing interception to win it all and give them a 1-0 record for the start of the season.

Of course, playing the Bearcats in the home of the Kansas City Chiefs meant it was almost inevitable that Cincinnati football alum Travis Kelce was going to be in the house rooting on his former college team. With the news of Kelce and Taylor Swift's engagement, it was also a wonder if the couple would be there together, and they were. For days now, this news has taken over the sports world, and Nebraska used it to its advantage last night after the win.

In a tweet that has since been deleted, the Nebraska Cornhuskers social media page posted a photo from Kelce and Swift's engagement, but instead of Swift hugging Kelce, they photoshopped Herbie Husker into the photo with the caption"Change of Plans."

Now, Nebraska did delete the post not long after it was posted, and who knows why they did, but it truly is the ultimate troll not just of the Cincinnati Bearcats, but of one of their most beloved alums, Travis Kelce. Now they could have deleted the post out of respect for Kelce, but Cornhusker fans have to laugh a little at it, right?

Basically, it is all good, clean fun, and the thing Nebraska fans can walk away with is the victory as they head back to Lincoln. Nebraska can't rest on its laurels as the season won't get any easier from here. With two more non-conference games on the schedule, the Cornhuskers will get a little breather against Akron and HCU, but after that, it is all Big Ten play from there, and the biggest tests await them.
