When Nebraska was selected to the Midwest Region, specifically to play in Oklahoma City, every analyst and sports personality knew the Huskers first round game would practically be a home game. Boy, were they right as the Huskers are taking on Troy in the first round in one of the first games, and it sounds like there isn't a single Troy fan in the stands.

Husker Nation certainly showed up, and they are showing out, making their presence known, giving Nebraska the juice it needs so far in the first half. If the court didn't say "March Madness" on it, some might think this game was in Lincoln.

The lines to get into the game looked like it was a home game for the Huskers as the sea of red showed up early for what they hope is a historic game.

Both Nebraska and Troy are playing for program history, trying to secure that first NCAA Tournament win. This feels like the year that Nebraska will not only get its first win, but keep the run going after the first round, and fans are certainly there to keep the Huskers going.

Some sports media and reporters are even shocked that Nebraska fans have shown up this big, saying this is one of the most lopsided crowds they have ever seen at the NCAA Tournament.

Nebraska fans are giving Troy an NBA environment in OKC

The Oklahoma City Thunder are the reigning NBA Champions, and the fans certainly knew how to give their team a home-court feel. With Nebraska in the building with their elite fanbase, some are thinking the Thunder are playing today, but they are mistaken.

Nebraska fans have certainly proven that they are some of the best in college sports, as they have really shown up for this team. For one of the first games in the NCAA Tournament, Nebraska fans have set the tone on how they plan to support their team this March.

During several moments in the first half, Nebraska fans could be heard chanting "Go Big Red" even on the TV broadcast. It is clear that Nebraska fans are ready for history, and if the Cornhuskers let this game slip away, they could have a mutiny on their hands.
