Nebraska football offensive lineman reportedly finds himself in legal trouble
It would be safe to say that things haven't been going well for the Nebraska football program over the last few weeks. Most of the problems have come on the field in the form of three straight losses.
However, on Tuesday, some off the field stuff reared its ugly head. The Huskers are now dealing with and offensive lineman getting arrested early Saturday morning, just hours before NU lost its third straight to the UCLA Bruins.
KETV first reported that Nebraska football freshman lineman Gibson Pyle was arrested by a state trooper on suspicion of driving under the influence.

According to authorities, around 1:20 a.m., the state trooper stopped the 19-year-old Pyle near Ninth and N streets in Lincoln for disobeying a traffic control device. During the stop, the trooper became suspicious of impairment, officials said.
A preliminary breath test registered a BAC of 0.109, and Pyle was taken into custody for driving under the influence, first offense, according to authorities.
The Cornhuskers landed the commit of the Texas native back in August of 2023. In his true freshman season he hasn't had a chance to see the field much and at this point could have played the last three games and still kept his redshirt.
Pyle appeared in one game so far this season. He appeared for the Nebraska football team in garbage time against UTEP. He logged 20 snaps in that game but hasn't seen the field in any contest since.
