Nebraska football Early Signing Day 2025 tracker, live updates

Nobody can say this week has been boring for the Nebraska football team. Ahead of National Signing Day, the Huskers have seen quite a bit of churn with 10 players now poised to enter the transfer portal when it opens next Monday.

The Huskers have also lost a defensive coordinator and locked down their new offensive coordinator for the next two years. And they’ve reportedly hired a new wide receivers’ coach before chance to the current coach was announced.

All of that is in the rearview mirror for the time being. Today is all about having the best possible 2025 recruiting class for the Nebraska football team. Early National Signing Day could offer some big surprises alongside locking down the guys the Huskers already have commits from. 

Nebraska football looking for big 2025 National Signing Day

Michael Terry III is a 5-star athlete who will choose between Texas, Oregon and the Cornhuskers on Signing Day. These kinds of things rarely go NU’s way and he’s from Texas so it certainly seems like we already know how this story is going to go. However, it’s still worth watching and waiting.

There’s also a potential flip in the form of Cortez Mills. Recruiting analysts have been predicting that the Oklahoma commit might change schools. He hasn’t yet, but he hasn’t signed on the dotted line just yet. 

And then there’s Chase Loftin. The in-state prospect has chosen Florida State and even doubled down this week. But Nebraska football isn’t going to treat it like it’s over until it’s over.
