Because there simply aren't that many reliable ways to figure out who's getting paid and what, it's hard to know who among the Nebraska Cornhuskers is really taking advantage of NIL and who is getting lost in the shuffle. What's worse is that it appears there are plenty of people getting lost in the shuffle.
Tom Mars, one attorney and agent who works with players on NIL deals quite often took to social media on Thursday to talk about the problems the NIL Clearing House is causing, because it's dragging its feet.
The Clearing House is supposed to approve or deny NIL deals for Nebraska Cornhuskers players, as well as all other players in the sport. Still, Mars says that there's a massive backlog because the clearinghouse simply isn't giving a response at all. He posted a series of messages from one player showing how the ball is being dropped. It's a situation that has to be fixed, but has been going on for months without a peep from those in charge.
People should start focusing on how the inept NIL approval process created by the CSC is impacting the lives of college athletes. Here’s a glimpse of what is happening to college athletes who relied on the CSC’s promise that the “NIL Go”process would be fast and efficient. https://t.co/yDOWGoU7Pc pic.twitter.com/YotycyD8K3

Michigan State passrush could be point of weakness for Huskers to exploit
While the Michigan State Spartans are bad on defense across the board, one area where they are weakest is an area that's been a problem for a couple of years now. MSU doesn't have much of a pass rush against Power 4 opponents.
In fact, they've only recorded 9 sacks in 12 games against P4 opponents in the last two seasons. And 7 of those came in two games. Nebraska will have a real shot to light up Sparty anyway, but unless something goes terribly wrong, Dylan Raiola will have plenty of time to slice and dice the secondary.
