It tuns out that while the Nebraska Cornhuskers didn’t exactly cover themselves in glory in the NCAA Tournament’s regionals round, they were joined by almost all the other Big Ten teams that made the tourney.

Four B1G teams made the tournament, Nebraska, USC, Oregon, and UCLA all got in. Only UCLA is moving onto the Super Regionals. While Oregon and USC weren’t blown out the way the Huskers were in the regional finals, the Ducks were hosting a regional at their home park.

All that is to say that the Nebraska Cornhiuskers didn’t end the season on anything resembling a high note, but at least it had a little bit of company as the debate over Will Bolt’s job security continues.

Nebraska Cornhuskers have a good camp and a good running back looking their way

Matt Rhule and his staff hosted a football camp this weekend for several top targets in the 2026 class, as well as the 2027 class and even the 2028 recruiting cycle. Among those players was quarterback commit Trae Taylor.

There was also running back Xavier Bala. The New York prospect has been a rising star in the 2027 class. He showed enough when he was in Lincoln that he got himself an offer from Rhule and it appears what Nebraska offered was good enough that he was impressed with the facilities on offer.

Ndamukong Suh up for College Football Hall of Fame

Nebraska Cornhuskers great Ndamukong Suh is officially up for induction in the College Football Hall of Fame. This is the first time he’s been on the ballot. While it can be hard for certain players to get into the Hall on their first try, there are few players that are more deserving of a first ballot induction than the Husker legend. Unfortunately, we won’t find out if he got voted in until early 2026.
