Nebraska's win over Maryland was far from perfect, but at 24-4, the Huskers continue to impress college basketball analysts. In fact, the latest Bracketology from On3 has NU strengthening its hold on a No. 3 seed.

James Fletcher released his latest projections on Thursday morning and showed that Duke, Michigan, Arizona, and UCONN are his No. seeds with the Blue Devils as the top overall seed. Houston, Florida, Iowa State, and Purdue are Fletcher's No. 2 seeds.

Illinois, Nebraska, Gonzaga, and Virginia are the No. 3 seeds, with the Huskers slated for the West Region. Alabama, Texas Tech, Michigan State, and Kansas round out Fletcher's top bracketology. It's certainly a sight to behold to see the Huskers with a higher seed than programs like the Spartans and Jayhawks.

How Nebraska basketball sits above Michigan State and Kansas in latest Bracketology

The On3 analyst has NU starting off in Oklahoma City, and he believes they'll take on No. 14 seed Austin Peay in the second round. Should Nebraska log its first-ever NCAA Tournament win from there, it'll take on the winners of BYU vs Ohio State/Santa Clara. Should the Cornhuskers take on the Cougars, it would be a rematch of their preseason exhibition tilt, a game NU won.

Nebraska as a 3-seed is becoming the prevalent opinion. ESPN's Joe Lunardi has the Cornhuskers on that line in Oklahoma City as well. However, he does have the opponents set differently.

Lunardi has picked Fred Hoiberg's squad to take on Navy in the first round. Should they get that elusive first NCAA Tourney win, they would then take on the winner of Saint Louis vs Miami (O). That would certainly make an interesting second-round matchup since all three of the teams are upstart returnees to the Big Dance, no one saw coming last fall.

The good news here is that Nebraska seems pretty locked in to a very favorable seed. If there's a bad news aspect of these latest Bracketologies, it's extremely unlikely, barring a run to the Big Ten title to move up to a higher seed.
