Matt Rhule has done a lot a Nebraska in two years, and it is clear he is loving Lincoln. As a college football head coach, you have to truly connect with the players coming into the program, as they may not be there for long, and Rhule has found a way to do just that, whether it is because of his coaching style, the culture he is building in Lincoln, or because he takes the coolest recruitment photos.
Nebraska had a big official visit weekend this past weekend, and Rhule might have just been a part of the coolest official visit photo shoot known to mankind. Nebraska is known for its rows and rows of cornfields, and with the mascot of the school being the Cornhuskers, it only made sense that the prospects did a photoshoot on a John Deere tractor in a corn field, and Rhule made sure he did not miss out.
Rhule got on the tractor with the prospects and joined in on the photoshoot, showing these players that while playing college football is serious, to should also enjoy the fun things that come along with being a college athlete.
Narrative forever: “I thought it was just going to be cornfields”

Matt Rhule is doing everything he can when it comes to recruiting
The numbers may not show how hard Rhule is working to build the 2026 recruiting class. So far, Nebraska has only five commits in its 2026 recruiting class and is ranked the No. 71 class overall by 247Sports. With some of the bigger recruiting weekends coming in this month, Rhule is doing everything he can to get guys in the building.
Nebraska has landed in the top choices of many prospects, but Rhule needs to figure out a way to seal the deal in the end. The good news is that Rhule is great at bringing in players from the transfer portal, but that has to translate to bringing in high school recruits to build the future of the program.
