The name Raiola has been associated with Nebraska for quite a long time, first with Dominic Raiola, now with Dylan Raiola, and soon to be Dayton Raiola. Dylan is currently the starting quarterback for the Cornhuskers, but his brother Dayton, who is already a part of Nebraska's Class of 2026, could come in a be in line to be the Cornhuskers' next starting quarterback after his brother's departure.
Dylan certainly impressed while he was in high school, and Dayton has recently been showing off his arm. After winning his season opener on ESPN, Dayton hasn't slowed down, and in his most recent game, he had a 60-yard touchdown where he threw an absolute dime to his receiver.

Dayton is currently a 3-star quarterback in the Class of 2026, coming in as the No. 96 quarterback in the class and the No. 160 player in the state of Georgia, according to 247Sports. Even though he isn't ranked quite as high as his brother was coming out of high school, that doesn't mean he still doesn't have the same traits.
The video above shows not just the strength of Dayton, but also the accuracy as he hit his receiver right in his hands, making the catch as easy as possible, and putting six on the board.
The brothers could easily be working together in the offseason, as Dylan probably wants to see his brother have success at the same position at the same school. It is unclear when exactly Sylan will choose to head to the NFL, but if he does anytime soon, Dayton will still have to compete for the starting position.
Nebraska does have some solid quarterback commits coming in, like 4-star quarterback Trae Taylor, who is already riding with the Cornhuskers. Taylor has been a huge recruiter for Nebraska, constantly talking up the program.
Dayton will have competition with other guys, but with his older brother's help, maybe he can win the battle in the future and Nebraska can have another Raiola leading them on the field.
