Nebraska is about to do something that they have not done since over a year and a half and it is play a full game without quarterback Dylan Raiola. The Cornhuskers lost their star quarterback last week against No. 23 USC when he went down with an ankle injury. A day later, it was annoucned that Raiola's season was over due to a fractured fibula.
Of course, Nebraska can't just cancel the rest of the season just because Raiola goes down. Instead, they need to have that 'next man up' mentality and get ready to support backup quarterback TJ Lateef.
The Cornhuskers will make the tough trip out to California to take on a UCLA team that have had the most up and down season imaginable. Lateef will get his first career start for the Cornhuskers, but at least he has had all week to work with the starters and get comfortable in the offense.
