Big Ten Media Days are officially here and with them, is the unofficial start of the Nebraska football season.

The Huskers are sending three players along with head coach Matt Rhule to a brand new location. Big Ten media days have taken place in Indianapolis for the last few seasons, but with the addition of the former Pac-12 teams, there was a need to give the West Coast schools a chance to be closer to home every now and then. And so this event takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Big Ten Football Media Days Nebraska football player attendees

Each day, starting with Tuesday's opener press conference, after the coaches have their 15 minutes at the main podium, the session will break up. Players will have their own booths where they will spend about half an hour answering questions from the media.

This year, Nebraska is sending offensive lineman Henry Lutovsky, quarterback Dylan Raiola, and safety DeShon Singleton.

Raiola promises to be the headliner of the group as most expect him to have a chance to be one of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten in his sophomore season.

For those Husker fans looking to hear from other players in the Big Ten:

  • Illinois: Quarterback Luke Altmyer, offensive lineman J.C. Davis, defensive back Xavier Scott
  • Indiana: Linebacker Aidan Fisher, defensive lineman Mikail Kamara, wide receiver Elijah Sarratt
