One former Nebraska football star made his thoughts about Shedeur Sanders’ antics after beating lowly Arizona State known quite clearly.
Nebraska football fans know the kind of talent that Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is first hand. They also know the level of immaturity he possesses firsthand.
The immaturity was on full display again this weekend when the Buffaloes’ quarterback led his team to a come-from-behind win over Arizona State. That’s the currently 1-5 Arizona State Sun Devils.
Despite the fact that Colorado beat a heavy underdog and needed a last minute rally to do it, it appears that Shedeur thought the win was worthy of him running over to the ASU student section and making the same ridiculous move he did to Nebraska football players before their tilt earlier in the year.
The younger Sanders likes showing off his watch to people. He’ll even do it if he’s not wearing a watch. It’s always ridiculous and silly looking. It was moreso after this particular game.
When former Nebraska football star Will Compton tweeted out the video of Shedeur doing his usual routine, he added the caption, “LMAO insane behavior,” Husker great Adam Carriker retweeted the post and added his own analysis of the situation.
Former Nebraska football star not amused by Shedeur Sanders
Carriker put Shedeur Sanders on blast with a very simple sentence:
“He has no idea that he should be embarrassed instead of proud.”
The statement could apply to a couple of different things. There’s the fact that Shedeur just looks weird repeatedly showing off his sparkly watch to people seated about 50 feet away. There’s the number of times he does it too. It all comes off as weird.
The former Nebraska football star might also have been talking about the game itself. Sanders’ squad just beat a team they were supposed to be able to handle quite easily. Instead they needed a late field goal to do it.
It’s possible Carriker meant that someone with the skill level of Sanders should be embarrassed it was so difficult to dispatch ASU. Whatever the reason, it appears Nebraska football fans have another reason to dislike the Buffaloes.
