Nebraska Cornhuskers News: Raiolas returns to Lincoln, more
When the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team took on the Michigan Wolverines, the Raiola family was on hand to see it and raised eyebrows.
While most Nebraska Cornhusker fans have mostly moved on from Dylan Raiola, ears still perk up and eyes bug when someone notices that he’s back in Lincoln. Such was the case last Saturday when one fan spotted him.
It took no time at all for people to wonder why the top quarterback in the 2024 class was in town during a very big game for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. However, it doesn’t appear that this was Dylan suddenly wavering on Georgia.
It’s more likely that the entire Raiola clan came to town. They’ve done it before, since uncle Donovan Raiola is on Matt Rhule’s staff. Brother Dayton Raiola even announced he was headed back to “the good life,” before Dylan was spotted.
Dayton is, at the moment, still uncommitted and could very well still be a Nebraska football target. But it seems extremely unlikely Dylan Raiola was in town for anything other than a fun family get-together.
Nebraska football opens as dogs
The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team is still paying a bit of a price for its shaky performance against Michigan. That includes opening as 4-point-underdogs to Illinois on Friday night.

The Huskers are dogs despite the fact that they’re are visiting a 2-3 Illinois squad that got drubbed by a mid Purdue team. The Cornhuskers are apparently going to prove themselves for the rest of the season.
Nebraska Cornhuskers basketball television schedule
With just a few weeks until the Huskers tip off their 2023-24 season, the television schedule for Hoiberg’s Heroes was announced. It should surprise no one that if you want to see the Nebraska Cornhuskers first five games, including their exhibition bout, you’ll have to have Big Ten+
The first game that will be on anything other than BTN+ is the Oregon State tilt on Peacock. The next game, against Duquesne will be on regular old BTN.
Once the Nebraska Cornhuskers get into their conference schedule, quite a few games will be hosted on either BTN or Peacock.
