Nebraska football surging to top of the list for another top Hawaii prospect
The Nebraska football team might be setting up a bit of a pipeline with the state of Hawaii if they are able to land another top player.
The Nebraska football team has already added the best player in the state of Hawaii to its 2024 commitment list. Could the Huskers be on the cusp of getting the best player in the 2025 class from that state as well?
Perhaps the most impressive part about the headway that Matt Rhule and company are making is that when Houston Kaahaaina-Torres, the only coach that was on the staff is offensive line coach Donovan Raiola.
The 2025 prospect was offered back in June of 2022, right around the time Scott Frost, Mickey Joseph, and company were gearing up to try and save Frost’s job. Those efforts definitely did not pan out.
The Nebraska football team hosted Kaahaaina-Torres back in April on an unofficial visit and have reportedly been recruiting him hard since then. In fact, it appears they’ve been pushing the right buttons to the point where several recruiting experts believe the Huskers are surging towards the “favorite” to land the big interior offensive lineman.
On3 has the Nebraska football team in second place, just behind the Utah Utes regarding odds to land the 6-foot-3, 271-pound prospect. At the moment, Utah has a 47 percent chance to get Kaahaaina-Torres while the Huskers are rated as having a 41.4 percent chance.

Preston Taumua was the most recent get out of Hawaii and things moved quickly for Nebraska football in that regard. But specifically when it comes to
