Nebraska football quarterback commit Daniel Kaelin isn’t letting Georgia get the last laugh when it comes to reeling in Ainsworth prospect, Carter Nelson.

While the Huskers have reeled in a ton of commits over the last few days, one prospect is still out there uncommitted. Daniel Kaelin is trying to change that status from free agent to future Nebraska football player.

Since committing himself, the Bellevue West quarterback has made no bones about his peer recruiting. He’s someone who clearly feels as though it’s part of his duty to try and get the best players in the country to Lincoln.

Kaelin’s peer recruiting hasn’t directly led to a commit yet. Though it seems likely that if they want them, the Nebraska football team could end up landing both of the top receivers that he’s throwing to at Bellevue West. Isaiah McMorris looks like a no-brainer, and Dae’vonn Hall recently became more of a realistic option in the last few days.

The player that Kaelin seems to want to land the most is Carter Nelson. The tight end prospect out of Ainsworth is the top prospect in the state. He’s also someone that schools from all over the country are very interested in scoring.

Nebraska football commit going hard after Nelson

Kaelin has gone hard after Nelson since the quarterback announced he was going to be a Husker. Earlier this week, the pair hung again, and it’s not hard to guess what they talked about. Some Nebraska football fans saw the two spending time checking out the College World Series.

It’s not hard to see that Kaelin is trying to make sure and bond with Nelson so that the tight end decides to stay in the state. Considering that the Huskers target is being wooed by Georgia and Alabama among others, Kaelin’s got his work cut out for him.
