Nebraska Cornhuskers fans are sitting and waiting to see if the team’s best player is going to return or stick with plans to go to the NBA.

The Nebraska basketball team has taken some steps to be a better squad than they were in the 2022-23 season but there is one big step that is likely going to if they really can be better. That’s whether or not Keisei Tominaga will be back in Lincoln.

The shooting guard declared for the NBA Draft earlier this spring, though he did it in a way that the door is open for a return. The deadline for the final decision is now looming and it appears it’s anyone’s guess where Tominaga is leaning.

Reading the tea leaves, the Nebraska Cornhuskers star has been beefing up and training hard in order to get his body ready for the NBA. Though in fairness he could also be beefing up and training to be even better and more ready for the grind of the Big Ten season.

There’s on last step on the road to his decision. He’s working out for the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday and then two days later, the announcement will come. Nebraska Cornhuskers fans need to mark June 1 on their calendar. It’s gonna be a big day.
