The Nebraska Cornhuskers are waiting to hear what Keisei is going to do, but in the meantime, they’re watching him transform his body.
Nebraska basketball fans are hoping that while Keisei Tominaga has declared for the NBA draft, he might eventually see the error of his ways. There is a real chance this will happen, based on how he declared for the draft in the first place.
It certainly seems that Nebraska Cornhuskers coach Fred Hoiberg thinks there’s a chance the dead eye from deep will come back. And in the meantime, he’s watching his star player transform himself. Whether that transformation is geared towards playing in the league or one final big year in Lincoln.
Appearing on the Huskers Radio Network earlier this week Hoiberg said that Tominaga has been working incredibly hard on his offseason training. He’s done so well that he believes fans won’t even recognize the guard when they see him on the court again.
Here’s hoping it’s for Nebraska basketball when he gets back on the court.
Nebraska baseball gets a measure of revenge
The Huskers are on quite a run the last couple of weeks. Of course, they’re also playing some pretty bad teams of late.
When the Nebraska Cornhuskers posted a 10-5 win over Purdue, they kept their run toward the top of the Big Ten standings and got a bit of revenge against the Boilermakers.
Last season, the Huskers missed the Big Ten tournament and Purdue played a big part in that. They refused to reschedule a game on the last weekend of the regular season because of in climate weather. Instead, the game was canceled.
Nebraska missed the Top 8 spots by a few percentage points because of that fold job. Not only was the win against the Boilermakers a way to see if the Huskers can really get a run together, but it was also nice to get a bit of revenge.
Other Nebraska Cornhuskers news
- Stephon Wynn has himself his new home. The former Alabama Crimson Tide player who transferred to the Huskers before last season is back in the SEC. He’s now a member of Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss squad.
- Former Nebraska baseball star Aaron Palensky is continuing his absolutely red hot start. He’s already got 10 home runs this season for the Hudson Valley Renegades. It’s a safe bet that he’s going to move up to the next level of the minor leagues soon.
