Saturday was a very big day for Nebraska football fans. It was actually a pretty big day for Husker fans of other sports too, but considering Dylan Raiola was in town, we’ll go with the narrative that football fans had the biggest day.

Raiola is the top target of the 2024 recruiting class. And by all accounts, the Nebraska football team is very much in the running, despite also being recruited by Georgia and USC. As part of his visit to Lincoln to see his uncle, offensive line coach Donovan Raiola, Dylan took in the Nebraska basketball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

While being celebrated so much during that game that at one point he had to stand up and give the “bones” signal that is associated with the Blackshirts, he also sent out a tweet that had Nebraska football fans going wild.

It’s worth pointing out that Dylan Raiola doesn’t use social media that much. The post on Saturday was his first since mid-January. Certainly not as much as some of the other top recruits in the 2024 recruiting class. He seems to keep a relatively low profile. And that’s why his recent post had Husker fans going a bit crazy.

The post in question was simple enough. It showed the Nebraska basketball court during the game with the caption #thegoodlife. Nebraska football fans were quick to react.

There have been more than a few Cornhuskers fans who believe that Raiola’s visit to Lincoln might be hinting at something big. He already had an official visit scheduled for March 25.

So is the fact that he seemed to embrace what he saw so completely a sign of something? Is he a silent commit to the Huskers as some have suggested.

One thing is clear when you look at the video of the top prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, it certainly looks like he’s embracing the culture of Nebraska football. And his dad looks quite happy to be in the middle of the throng of Husker fans as well.
