Nebraska Football: Dylan Raiola tea leaves keep pointing to Huskers
The Nebraska football team might be trending in the right direction when it comes to Dylan Raiola and his March visit seems like big news could come.
Since Dylan Raiola announced he wasn’t a commitment to Ohio State this fall, there’s been quite a bit of buzz about the chances that the Nebraska football team has in nabbing the top quarterback in the 2024 class.
Since he became a free agent, there’s been a ton of tea leave reading regarding Nebraska football and Dylan Raiola. Comments the quarterback has made could be seen as him leaning in direction or another. There was even a time when it seemed as though Georgia was going to be the team to beat but that might have changed as well.
The latest tea leave reading comes courtesy of 247Sports’ Mike Schaefer who announced he had put in a Crystal Ball on Monday. While Schaefer was coy about who he was talking about when it comes to who he was predicting would be a member of the Nebraska football program, but it wasn’t hard to follow the dotted lines.
After all, there isn’t a bigger recruit in the 2024 class for the Huskers. Matt Rhule and his staff have made that rather obvious with how they have recruited him.

The massive attention the Cornhuskers have paid to Raiola seems to be working. It helps that they are doing this simultaneously when it appears that Georgia is sending signals that they might be moving away from the 5-star quarterback.
Considering that he’ll be in Lincoln next month, it’s entirely possible the deal is going to get done. It certainly seems like there are some smoke signals that keep going up hinting that Nebraska football is going to be landing one of the most sought after players in the 2024 class.
