The Big Ten Men’s basketball tournament is right around the corner. March Madness is almost upon us, but before that can get rolling, the conferences need to pair down who will be going to the NCAA Tournament.

Big Ten Men’s Tournament Schedule

The regular season is just a few weeks, and then it’s time to move to the postseason officially. The 2023 Big Ten Me’s Tournament tips off with the bottom four seeds fighting against each other on Wednesday, March 8.

The first of these play-in games tips off at 5:30 pm central, and the second game will start about 25 minutes after the first game is over.

The tournament then kicks into gear on Thursday, March 9, with the first games at 11 am and then going all day. The tournament will progress through the rounds until we reach the Big Ten basketball championship game on March 12. That, of course, is Selection Sunday though the game will start at 2:30 pm so that it will end with enough time for the committee to seed whoever is in that game correctly and whoever wins the Big Ten Men’s Championship.

Where is the Big Ten Men’s Tournament?

While the Big Ten Men’s Tournament does tend to rotate locations, the 2023 tourney will be back in the United Center in Chicago. This is the 11th time in the tournament’s 26-year history that Chicago will play host to the tourney.

How to watch the Big Ten Men’s tournament

The television schedule for the conference tournament is a bit odd this year. The first round through the quarterfinals is going to be televised on BTN. For those who don’t have cable, people will be able to watch all the games on the Fox Sports App or through streaming services such as FuboTV.

On Saturday, March 11 the games will switch over to CBS when it comes to cable and they will also be broadcast on Paramount+ for those who want to go the streaming route.

The Big Ten Men’s championship game will also be on CBS and Paramount+ on Sunday, March 12, starting at 2:30 pm central time.
