EA Sports College Football takes another step in development
EA Sports College Football has apparently taken another step in its development as the much-anticipated video game slowly marches to release day.
EA Sports College Football is bringing back a franchise that has been gone for almost a decade now. While it won’t be called NCAA Football anymore, it’s expected and hoped that it will be the spiritual successor that will bring back the fun of video game college football.
Now there’s a bit of new news about EA Sports College Football, even if it’s not the kind of news most people are hoping for right about now. The game, which was originally slated for a summer release this year and then pushed back to 2024, has not been moved back up or anything like that.
However, it appears that the game is still moving along as far as development goes. It also appears that this new game will have one of the things that made NCAA Football so great. EA Sports College Football is apparently going to feature scenes from around college football to make the game feel more authentic.
David Waters of Gators Breakdown was the one to break the latest news. Waters reported that developers were spending some time in Gainesville.
"“EA Sports was in The Swamp yesterday scanning content for the new NCAA Football video game”"
EA Sports College Football takes another step in development
Taking shots of The Swamp certainly isn’t a massive step forward in the grand scheme of things. However, it’s a bit comforting to know that EA Sports College Football is deep in development.
Since this game was announced, people have been a bit nervous about whether or not it will come to completion and what it will look like when it does. NIL allows for this game to be made, but it also still offers some difficult steps here and there.
We haven’t yet heard of Electronic Arts being in Lincoln to check out the chapel of Nebraska football that is Memorial Stadium. One has to think that EA Sports College Football developers being in Florida means that the stage of development is well underway.
