Nebraska football recruiting top target Dylan Raiola might be making an interesting move, even if it isn’t tied to where he’ll play college ball.

Considering that Railoa is thought to be the top quarterback in the 2024 class has people paying attention to everything that the Chander, Arizona quarterback does or says. That includes things that could have very little impact on where he’ll be signed to this time next year.

According to Eric Sorenson of 360AZ, there is a very real possibility that the 5-star prospect is going to be playing quarterback for another Arizona high school. Sorenson tweeted out over the weekend that the Nebraska football recruiting target could transfer over to Pinnacle High.

The question as to just why the quarterback might do this is certainly one that doesn’t have an obvious answer. Pinnacle was a slightly better overall squad than Chandler but it’s not as though playing for his current high school was hurting his reputation.

Dylan Raiola is still the top quarterback target in the country for what is now officially the current class. Nebraska football recruiting has been pulling out literally all the stops since he recommitted from Ohio State. Georgia and USC are also hot on his heels.

It seems unlikely interest is going to change if the quarterback who threw 54 touchdowns and just 10 INTs in his two seasons at Chandler stays there for his senior season.

Nebraska Football Recruiting Target On The Move?

Should Raiola be looking for a change, it would seem likely that we’re going to find out relatively soon. Pinnacle’s spring ball practices kick off in just 25 days. Registration for the team is open right now.

There is of course an argument to be made that the quarterback might want to finish out the year at his current school and then make a clean break over the summer. At the moment, it’s simply not clear how much stock to put into this particular report.

It’s also impossible to tell if it matters at all to those following Nebraska football recruiting. If it’s something that Dylan Raiola finds important, that might be noteworthy enough for fans of the college programs who are looking to land him the most.
