The Nebraska Cornhuskers are moving ever closer to welcoming back Zavier Betts with open arms. While nothing has been announced just yet, there’s been a lot of rumbling about the possibility that he’ll be with the Huskers in 2023.
The latest moves earlier this week included a family member of Betts confirming that he was indeed interested in rejoining the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team. On Sunday night, it appears that he took the biggest step yet.
Reports on Sunday night started making the rounds on social media that the Nebraska football receiver was at a team meeting that took place at 6 pm. The meeting marked the start of winter conditioning, and several of the coaches were in attendance.
It would appear that things are moving quickly in the right direction for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Zavier Betts and that an official announcement could be just around the corner.
