The Nebraska football recruiting apparatus has its work cut out for it if it wants to find a way to sign transfer wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa. The Huskers are making a play for the D2 transfer though it’s not entirely clear how hard they are going after him.

What is known is if they are trying to bring TeSlaa into the fold, they are going to have to fight off some big competition. And some B1G competition. Purdue has come calling for the talented pass catcher and they’re far from the only school the Cornhuskers are going to need to fight off.

He also just came back from a visit to Arkansas. The Razorbacks appear to be one of the teams with the best chance of landing TeSlaa, depending on when he plans on pulling the trigger.

Speaking about his visit, he made it clear he enjoyed what he saw when talking to a local Fox news station.

"“It was great. This was the first school that I got to visit that was in the SEC. Just seeing all the bells and whistles they have here was awesome, but also getting a feel for their culture. Their coaching staff is incredible obviously. They get you hyped up but they also know how to talk about the program and the things that are important.”"

However, despite the fun visit, it doesn’t feel as though the receiver is all that close to pulling the trigger.

In addition to Arkansas, Purdue, and Nebraska football recruiting coming calling, Iowa, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Miami, Houston, Wisconsin, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Colorado, and Arizona have all given him offers.

Isaac TeSlaa may be one of the most sought-after receivers on the transfer portal right now. That’s especially surprising, considering that he comes from Hillsdale College. Though it appears he’s shown off the talent to overcome that stigma.
