The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team has had a pretty good run since the early signing period. And that was while everyone still knew they weren’t done just yet. On Tuesday, it appears the team put a couple of cherries on the sundae with Cameron Lenhardt’s and Ethan Nation’s commitments.
Both players played in the Under Armour game on Tuesday and both announced their commitments around the festivities. Nation, a 3-star defensive back who had offers from the likes of Georgia and Alabama kicked off the fun by committing to the Nebraska Cornhuskers before the game actually kicked off.
Then in the fourth quarter, Cameron Lenhardt announced he was committing to the Huskers for a second time. Both of the commitments on Tuesday are a boost to a defensive class that is looking quite good for Matt Rhule.
