Nebraska football fans got a refresher on why they should be quite excited that Jaidyn Doss is a commit to the program. The Kansas City area receiver has gotten off to a very good start to his senior season, with his latest game being one for the ages as he scored four touchdowns, including a 90-yard kickoff return.

The Raymore-Peculiar player made the most of his touches in his latest game, notching four receptions for 94-yards and three touchdowns. The 23-yards per catch average was impressive enough, but then he showed he was a multi-purpose weapon with his long kick return.

Sean Martin, head coach at Doss’s high school, talked to local station KSHB about the game making it clear he was quite impressed with the performance.

"“I think the display he put on last week was one of the better displays I’ve ever seen in high school football. You know, we get the blocking down, he knows what to do with it.”"

Doss’s performance helped his school to a 2-0 start to the young season and earned the Nebraska football commit the area Player of the Week honors.

The prospect is currently ranked just the 13th best player in the state of Missouri but it stands to reason that if he continues having games like he did against Park Hill, he could move up the ranks. The 3-star receiver could also see more attention from Power 5 schools in the near future.

However, Doss appears to be a strong commit to the Nebraska football program as he has even started bringing teammates to Lincoln to see what the Huskers are all about. That was on display last weekend as the Cornhuskers took on North Dakota. Both Doss and Jaden Reddell were able to see the victory up close and personal. Reddell even went home with a new Nebraska football offer.
