Ben Stille‘s key sack

To me this was the top play of the entire year for Nebraska football. In a year where wins were hard to come by, Ben Stille clinched one for Nebraska against Penn State.

This was a game where both teams came into this contest struggling. Neither team was playing great, and Nebraska needed their first win of the season. It came down to the final seconds. With 37 seconds left, Penn State was knocking on the doorstep and could have taken the lead with a touchdown and an extra point. Stille made sure that did not happen

This was a great call by defensive coordinator Eric Chinander. He really brought the heat and this was a situation where I would have as well. In that situation, you want to bring as many pass-rushers as possible and try to get the quarterback to make a bad throw. Instead of a bad throw, Stille got the key sack and was able to seal the Nebraska football victory. Not only that, it was their first victory of the season. That made the sack that much more important.
