The newest Nebraska football wide receiver sounds eager to get started.

The 2021 class is officially ready to come to campus for Nebraska football. There is a ton of talent in this class, and I’m excited to see how each player does as they represent the future of the program. One of those players is wide receiver Latrell Neville.

We’ve talked about what Neville can bring to the table a bit as he is a talented wide receiver. He should definitely be able to help the Nebraska football program in the future, and he should also be able to make an impact.

That’s exactly what he is focused on doing, as he is ready to bring as much as he can to the program. Not only that, he is very excited about what the 2021 class brings to the table.

Quite frankly, so am I. This is a class that should not only make an impact in their freshman years, but could also shape the future of the program. In what is a very important next couple of years for the direction of the program, I feel confident that this class will be able to get the program back on its feet.

So too does Neville, as he talked to the media on Wednesday about what he thinks this class can bring to the table. He also talked about what he can bring to the table, as he looks to make an impact right away. Not only does he plan to make impact on the field, he also wants to use his voice  to help better his teammates.

"“I would say, outside of talent-wise, I’m a vocal leader. I’m really very passionate about the game and love to really be able to use my voice and help other guys. Talent-wise, I feels as if I’m a big, fast receiver who can stretch the field, but can also get the ball in space and make something happen with it.”"

All of the above sound very encouraging, and he sounds like exactly the type of player Nebraska football needs if they want to take the next step. In terms of winning, the culture around the program needs to change. This incoming group has the talent to do that. That’s certainly a step in the right direction.
