Nebraska football opens the week as favorites against Minnesota.
As Nebraska football gets set to take on Minnesota on Saturday, oddsmakers have the weighed in about Nebraska’s chances to win the game. They open as 11-point favorites over Minnesota.
Minnesota has not played since November 20 against Purdue. They won that game 34-31, largely due to the play of running back Mohamed Ibrahim. He rushed the ball 25 times for 102 yards and three touchdowns.

In the meantime, Nebraska football is coming off a big win over Purdue. In what was a game that Nebraska desperately needed to win, they did so. Adrian Martinez excelled, and the defense was able to contain Rondale Moore just enough to be able to win the game. Now, they hope to keep the momentum going against Minnesota.
This Nebraska team has managed to find some level of success, and the improvement week to week has been noticeable. A win over Minnesota would be big, especially given what Minnesota did to Nebraska football last year. it would be awesome for Nebraska to be able to beat a team that has given them trouble over the years.
However, an outbreak of an outbreak of COVID- 19 has affected the Minnesota football team. Since the outbreak started, 49 total coronavirus cases have been reported as of December 3. This of course puts into question as to whether the game will be played.
