Deontai Williams

Deontai Williams had a great day defensively as well. He brought energy, and he was aggressive. He played like he wanted to be on the field, and that was certainly noticeable.

He finished the game with 10 tackles, two of them he assisted on. His energy was noticeable. Although he took a silly penalty during the game, that definitely does not diminish what he was able to accomplish on the field Saturday. He was flying all over the place, and he was a big reason why the secondary played as well as it did.

He certainly gave it his all, and with the uncertain status of the Minnesota game next week, he may have played one of his last games in a Nebraska uniform.
