Nebraska football got a big win over Purdue on Saturday..

It was perhaps one of the better games of the season. Nebraska football was able to come away with a 37-27 victory over Purdue, giving them their second win of the season.

For the most part, the team played well on both sides of the football. The defense held strong throughout the first half. Although they showed a couple cracks in the second half, they still managed to come up big when it mattered most. This was great to see, especially with the  entire secondary having struggled over the past couple of weeks.

On the offensive side of football, quarterback Adrian Martinez looked like he was a man on a mission. He performed well and was ready to go. He looked confident, and that translated to the rest of the offense. From the running game, to the wide receivers, everybody stepped up and played their part. With the season coming to a close, this is not only a big win in terms of record, but also for morale the team was able to come together and get this victory. They earned victory, and they played hard throughout the entire course of the game. Although things got dicey, Nebraska was able to weather the storm and secure the victory.

I take a look at four stars from Saturday’s victory over Purdue.
