Who is the player on defense that Nebraska football should watch out for?
There are a few players I’d keep an eye on. First, their nose tackle Keanu Benton is a beast in the middle. He’s just a sophomore, but he makes a huge impact on the defensive line. Middle linebackers
Jack Sanborn and Leo Chenal are both stud defenders. Running on these linebackers will be very difficult. Finally, cornerback Rachad Wildgoose got a lot of praise from Jim Leonhard out of camp. He covered Illinois’ receiver Josh Imatorbhebhe and held him to just 3 catches for 26 yards. Peters was targeting Imatorbhebhe all night, but Wildgoose made it extremely hard for them to connect.
