Nebraska Football: Start time for Ohio State game is officially here

We now have a time for the Nebraska football game against Ohio State. The opener is scheduled to kick off at noon on FOX.
This ordinarily is not the biggest news. However, with everything that has gone on in order to just make a season happen, this is great news. Ohio State will look to remain one of the top programs in college football. Nebraska football will look to become one of the up-and-coming programs in its own right.
I am excited to see what Nebraska football is going to be able to do against Ohio State. Given the talent that Ohio State has, it may not be a close game. However, I think Nebraska will be able to make it more entertaining than last year’s debacle. A new start time is perfect for many of us, because we can enjoy the game and then go out and do fall activities afterwards. I’ll let you guys create your own definition of fall activities

In any event, this game will be extremely fascinating. With Nebraska and Ohio State forming a friendship of sorts that will certainly add an interesting back story to this game. You can bet that when these two teams take the field however, they will be ready to compete.
Nebraska has a lot to prove this year, especially with Scott Frost entering his third year with the program. In my opinion, this is the year where they need to make a big leap and show the rest of the college football world that they can compete. Failure to do so would be both disappointing and frustrating.
This new start time signifies the football is officially around the corner. I have been waiting for this for months, and I know many of you have as well. I love the fact that we are playing a tough team right away and not dealing with cupcake programs early. This will give us a chance to show what we are may have right off the bat. Although it may not go Nebraska’s way, it will still be a nice test for them to see where they are at.
