Here are some names to pay attention to if you are a Nebraska football fan.

It’s hard to believe that the Nebraska football 2022 class is already being put in conversation. Names have been floating around as to who Nebraska is going after, although it’s still very early in the process. Even still, it’s hard to believe that we are already looking for players in the next class. Especially in the sports world, time certainly flies.

There is a lot of talent in-state with the 2022 class. After landing four players from Nebraska in the 2021 class, there seems to be an influx of talent coming into the state. It’s been really fascinating to see Nebraska football head coach Scott Frost begin to land players from the state. One of my biggest knocks on him earlier in the year was that he couldn’t seem to get the job done when it came to the state of Nebraska.

Now, he is not only getting the job done in the state of Nebraska, he is also getting the job done in Iowa. Landing commitments in Nebraska and the surrounding states will ultimately help Scott Frost and the coaching staff build a proverbial fence. Hopefully, they will be able to continue to get the job done in these areas, and  in turn give Scott Frost in the coaching staff a place where they can bring in talent at a high success rate.

Without further ado, I take a look at the top three prospects that Nebraska football is connected with in the 2022 class, and what it may mean moving forward.
