Friday could be a big day for Nebraska Football.
Friday could be another huge day for the Nebraska football program in recruiting. Friday is the day that 2020 four-star quarterback Nadab Joseph makes his decision on where he is going to play.
Joseph is the third overall player in the 2020 junior-college rankings as well as top cornerback and top overall player in the state of Florida per the 247Sports composite rankings. Right now, the 247Sports crystal ball has Joseph with eight high predictions in favor of Nebraska.

In addition to Nebraska, he is also being recruited by the likes of Alabama, Baylor, Colorado, and Georgia. However, Nebraska appears to be the favorite.
Measuring in at six-foot-two, 193 pounds, Joseph is an absolute playmaker. He has the ability and the vision to read the quarterback’s eyes and go out for interceptions immediately. In addition, he shows an impressive ability to track the ball. He has the athleticism of a wide receiver, and the hard-hitting, playmaking ability of a safety. He is truly a shutdown corner in every sense of the word.
He is the type of corner that takes away one side of the field. Nebraska has been lacking a cornerback of that caliber for quite some time. Especially in the Big Ten, you need to have that type of corner in order to have a chance on Saturdays.
Nebraska football already has several strong corners coming into Lincoln in 2021. Adding Joseph to the mix for next year would set up the secondary for years to come.
The Huskers have made that position group a priority, and they have really been filling it with talent. Joseph is no exception to that. This month in particular has really given Nebraska a strong group of players to head into the future with.
Will Joseph choose Nebraska football? With Alabama also in the mix for Joseph, it would be a huge steal if the Huskers could land him. Nebraska has held its own against some of the bigger programs in recruiting. Yes, there is no doubt they have lost some battles. However, I feel good about this one.
Nebraska has made a commitment to strengthen their secondary, and adding Joseph would do that. It would make sense for Joseph to complete the rebuild the program is undergoing at the position. It would certainly make my weekend, and further the momentum that Nebraska football has built with this class.
