Recruiting is beginning to pick up for Nebraska football, and Tuesday they received a Crystal Ball for 2021 four-star inside linebacker Wynden Ho’ohuli
Ho’ ohuli is the sixth overall inside linebacker in his class, and the top player in his class from the state of Hawaii per the 247Sports composite rankings.

In addition to Nebraska, he holds 12 other offers. On that list includes the likes of Arizona State, Hawaii, Oregon, Oregon State, USC, Virginia, and Washington. Predictably, a lot of his offers are from the West Coast.
Most recently, he was offered by Washington on November 3.
He is being recruited to Nebraska by Tony Tuioti
When I take a look at his highlights, one of the first things I see is his pursuit of the football . Measuring in at six-foot-three, 220 pounds, as soon as the ball is snapped, he is ready to make a play. He is extremely physical, and is able to shed blockers with ease. He certainly fits the mold of the other linebackers in this class. He’s a player that I could see having many successful years in Lincoln.
The way Nebraska football is structuring their 2021 recruiting class, they will have depth and plenty of options at the linebacker position. Usually, depth pieces are players that normally are as good as the starters, and are used in case the starters need a breather.
This particular Nebraska football class has both starters and depth players that can make instant impacts. I love the focus that Nebraska football is placing on the linebacker position, and I truly believe that’s one of the key positions they need to recruit well for success.
It will be interesting to see who else Nebraska can make a part of their 2021 class. They certainly have a defensive theme for this group of players. I’m excited for the future and what it holds. There is obviously a theme of defense, and trying to get playmakers to come to the program. I love seeing Crystal Balls trend in Nebraska’s favor. 247Sports is usually accurate, and I trust them with this one.
