Austin Jablonski

Austin Jablonski is an interesting name on this list. Unlike the first two listed above, he was a stout dual-threat athlete in high school.

As a junior and senior from Lincoln Pius X, he tallied 1,807 passing yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior. He also was effective in running the ball, tallying 592 yards and nine touchdowns. Throughout his high school career, he was a highly-touted quarterback. He made the switch from quarterback to wide receiver last season. He redshirted in the process.

Jablonski is certainly an interesting talent. He is not necessarily going to be a star receiver. That is not a knock on him. In terms of young depth, Nebraska has a ton. I’ll be interested to see what he can do.

He is an athlete in every sense of the word. He is not your normal wide receiver, but his talents should allow him to succeed at the position.  Whether he gets playing time next year is certainly a question mark. However, he certainly has talent.
