Darrahn Diedrick

Even though he started his career in Lincoln in 1999, Dahrran Diedrick did his best work in the 2000’s.

Look no further than the 2001 season. He ran the ball 233 times for 1,299 yards and 15 touchdowns. The 2001 season would be the highlight of his Nebraska career. As a junior, he put the rest of the Big 12 on notice.

For his efforts in the 2001 season, he was the Big 12’s leading rusher. . He was also named to the All Big -12 Second and First Teams by various media entities. Perhaps one of his most memorable games as a Nebraska football player was on September 8 against Notre Dame. In that contest, he rushed the ball 32 times for 133 yards and two touchdowns. he was named the 2001 ABC Nebraska Player of the Game for his efforts

He would finish his career in Lincoln with 502 carries for 2,745 yards and 26 touchdowns.
