Nebraska Football will have a couple of players at the game in January.
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is set to occur on Saturday, January 4, 2020. It’s coming up very fast, and there are a couple of Nebraska Football representatives who are going to be participating in the game.
For references sake, the East team beat the West team by a 48-14 margin in last year’s game.
Playing on the West team, offensive tackle Turner Corcoran and strong-side defensive end Blaise Gunnerson will be the representatives for Nebraska Football. Gunnerson is a three-star recruit . He ranks as the 21st overall strong-side defensive end in his class, and is the third overall player in his class from the state of Iowa per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Corcoran is the fourth overall offensive tackle in the 2020 class, and the top player in the state of Kansas per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is a four-star recruit and is definitely one of the more talented tackles in his class.
I can’t wait to see both play. Truthfully, this is a game that favors the offense a little bit more than the defensive side of the football. As a result, Corcoran’s play will probably be a bit more noticeable. He will have to protect the quarterback. Alabama commit Brice Young is expected to lead the charge at the position. It should be a fun football game to watch regardless. There is some top-level talent in this game and it will be nice to see the stars of the future.
I will definitely be watching for Gunnerson and Corcoran. It’s great to have a couple of Nebraska representatives a part of the game. Nebraska Football had several last year, and now we will be able to see two players who should figure to be a big part of the team in the coming years. It will give us a nice glimpse into the potential future of Nebraska football.
As some may recall, Wan’Dale Robinson played extremely well in this game last year. We were able to see his talents on full display, and he showed those talents in Lincoln this season.
It’s nice that Nebraska Football is getting attention on the national stage. Hopefully, they will continue to have representatives in this game for years to come.
