Nebraska Football will have their hands full on Saturday.

Nebraska Football will look to bounce back against a tough Wisconsin Badgers team. The 14th -ranked Badgers head into Memorial Stadium looking to make a statement. In their last game against Iowa, Wisconsin narrowly secured the victory by a 24-22 margin. Even still, their stars came to play.

Quarterback Jack Coan got the job done. On the day he went 16-of-25, throwing for 173 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. It was the running game that really bolstered Wisconsin. Jonathan Taylor put on a show like it seems he does every Saturday. Carrying the rock 31 times, he rushed for 250 yards. Quintez Cephus also got the job done catching the football. He caught five passes for 94 yards and a touchdown. Averaging 18.8 yards per catch, a 52-yard grab was his longest of the afternoon.

Wisconsin leads the all-time series between these two teams by a 9-4 margin. As some of you would probably like to forget, Wisconsin beat Nebraska by a 41-24 margin.

Prediction:

It’s going to be a close one on Saturday. If Nebraska comes out like they did in the fourth quarter of the Purdue game, I have faith. However, if they start off sluggish like they did at the beginning of the Purdue game, I do not have faith. It will depend on if the defense can stop Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor. The passing game doesn’t scare me a ton, but Wisconsin’s running game should prove to be a very difficult test.

If Nebraska can limit the turnovers and make smart decisions in the passing game, they should be able to make this game close. However, Wisconsin is ranked 14th for a reason. The Cornhuskers will be else for points on the board but I honestly think the badgers will be too much to overcome.
