Nebraska Football has a visitor coming on Saturday.

As recruiting season continues for the 2020 class, Nebraska Football is only slated to have one official visitor this weekend. 2020 defensive end Latarie Kinsler is the person with that distinction. He is ranked the 15th overall weak side defensive end in his class, and the 16th overall player from the state of Florida per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

In addition to Nebraska, he also has offers from the likes of Louisville, Syracuse, Penn State, and Connecticut.

What can he bring to Nebraska football? Measuring in at six-foot-two, 205 pounds, that allows him to excel at his position. He can get the upper hand on his man, and swim through the offensive lineman. That allows him to get to the quarterback pretty quickly. That type of pass-rushing element will definitely be an asset for Nebraska. They have been doing a decent job of getting after the quarterback so far this season, but they will certainly need reinforcements as there is a ton of upperclassman talent defensively.

Currently, the 2020 recruiting class has shaped up nicely. After starting off slow, Nebraska Football managed to add some names to the class, and fill some needs. Currently, the class ranks 32nd overall. I expect that ranking to increase in the coming weeks. Nebraska is definitely not done with the 2020 class, and although they may not have a ton of spots left, they certainly have enough from to add a couple more players.

If they could get a commitment from Kinsler on Saturday, that would be awesome. A win would help in that regard, but Nebraska certainly has their work cut out for them. I’ll be interested to see how they do. Hopefully, they put on a good show for everyone. This could serve as a staple win of the season, and it would inch Nebraska Football that much closer to a bowl berth.
